JOB SUMMARY:
The Internal Audit Manager: Information Technology will be required to play a key role in all audit phases and will interact with senior and middle management across the organisation. This may range from conducting engagements, managing projects, to doing research, collating information or providing analytical insights.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Internal Audit Manager - IT will be required to play a key role in all audit phases and will interact with senior and middle management across the organisation. This may range from conducting engagements, managing projects, to doing research, collating information or providing analytical insights.
In addition, this role will be required to assist in identifying and assessing specific and ad-hoc/unique strategic, operational, reporting, internal control and/or compliance risks, directly aligned to business strategy, digital transformation, IT infrastructure and architecture, ensuring delivery against the Internal Audit plan and associated methodology.
This role will be responsible for the delivery of IT audit related work across the Group.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Experience and Knowledge:

At least 5 years related experience, of which 3 years in an IT business role
Technical background of operating systems (Windows and Linux, networks, databases (variety), and overall Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model
SAP and related SAP Basis controls (advantageous).
Understanding of IT infrastructure and IT operations, including Cloud services
Technical knowledge in one or more of the following:
- Vulnerability scanning
- Computer networks
- Server administration
- Database structures
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in leading and managing teams
- Experience in managing relationships
- Experience in project management
- Retail experience an advantage
- Deep knowledge of the business environment and value-chain
- Knowledge of finance, governance, compliance & Risk Management principles
- IIA Standards and Code of Ethics
- Knowledge of COSO framework
- Knowledge of COBIT and / or ITIL frameworks
- Knowledge of risk management and risk management practices
