Our client is looking for an experienced Internal Auditor to join their finance and governance environment. This opportunity is suited to someone who enjoys looking beyond the numbers, assessing controls and processes, identifying risks and working with stakeholders to strengthen the way a business operates. If you're analytical, naturally curious and enjoy getting to the root of a problem rather than simply ticking boxes, this could be your next career move. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute internal audit engagements across key business processes and functions. Evaluate internal controls, governance processes and risk management frameworks. Identify control weaknesses, risks and areas for improvement and provide practical recommendations. Prepare detailed audit working papers, findings and reports for management. Follow up on agreed audit actions and monitor the implementation of recommendations. Build strong relationships with stakeholders while maintaining independence and professional objectivity. Minimum Requirements BCom Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Internal Audit or a related field. 2-5 years' experience in an internal audit environment. Experience in risk-based auditing, controls testing and audit planning. Strong understanding of governance, risk and internal control principles. CIA, CISA, CA(SA) or other relevant professional qualification will be advantageous. Strong analytical, report-writing and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
