SUMMARY:
Are you an analytical Internal Auditor with a sharp eye for risk and a passion for uncovering opportunities to strengthen business controls?

Our client, a well-established organisation based in Johannesburg South, is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor with exposure to Fraud Risk Management to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven audit professional looking to develop their career within a dynamic and control-focused environment.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements BComm Degree in Accounting or Auditing, Finance or a related field CIA \/ IIA qualification would be advantageous 3+ years' experience in Internal Audit 1-2 years' exposure to fraud risk, investigations or fraud prevention Experience with risk-based auditing and identifying control weaknesses Key Responsibilities Conduct internal audits across key business processes and functions Evaluate internal controls and identify areas of risk Perform risk assessments and develop audit procedures Identify and investigate potential control weaknesses and risks of fraud Prepare detailed audit findings and recommendations Monitor implementation of agreed corrective actions Support the development and improvement of internal control frameworks Provide insights into management on key operational and financial risks Key Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and investigative ability Excellent attention to detail Sound risk and control awareness Strong report-writing and communication skills Critical thinker with a questioning mindset Ability to identify trends, anomalies and potential risks High level of integrity and professional judgement Do you have an analytical mindset to identify risks before they become bigger problems?
