POSITION INFO:
A well-established organisation within the services sector is seeking a Tax and Reporting Specialist to join its finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and providing valuable technical accounting support across the business. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and oversee accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Manage tax submissions, compliance requirements, and related reporting obligations. Provide technical accounting guidance and ensure compliance with IFRS standards. Assist with annual financial statement preparation and external audit processes. Review and analyse financial information to ensure accuracy and compliance. Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting activities. Maintain and strengthen internal financial controls and reporting procedures. Assist with technical accounting matters and the implementation of accounting standards. Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and financial processes. Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide meaningful financial insights Job Experience and Skills Required: CA(SA) qualification is essential. 2-3 years' post-articles experience. Strong exposure to tax and tax compliance requirements. Proven experience in financial reporting and technical accounting. Solid knowledge and practical application of IFRS standards. Experience with annual financial statements and audit processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
