POSITION INFO:

This JSE listed Real Estate Investment & Services company is looking to welcome a new Internal Auditor to their innovative and purpose driven team.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• To assist in facilitating, evaluating and documenting the organisation’s risk and control assessment.
• To assist in documenting and executing the risk-focused audit coverage plan and ad-hoc management requests.
• To assist in facilitating, evaluating and documenting systems risks and controls.
• To assist in facilitating and documenting the control adequacy assessment.
• To prepare audit working papers and to perform the control effectiveness testing in accordance with the Institute of Internal Auditors professional standards.
• Where required, supervision of audit engagement teams and ensuring that engagements are completed according to predefined audit schedules and timelines

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• Matric
• Bcom IT /BSc IT degree
• Completed CISA or CISM certification will be advantageous

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• 5 to 7 years Internal Audit experience
• 2 to 4 years Risk Management experience
• Experience in financial services or property industry would be an advantageous
