This JSE listed Real Estate Investment & Services company is looking to welcome a new Internal Auditor to their innovative and purpose driven team.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

To assist in facilitating, evaluating and documenting the organisation’s risk and control assessment.
To assist in documenting and executing the risk-focused audit coverage plan and ad-hoc management requests.
To assist in facilitating, evaluating and documenting systems risks and controls.
To assist in facilitating and documenting the control adequacy assessment.
To prepare audit working papers and to perform the control effectiveness testing in accordance with the Institute of Internal Auditors professional standards.
Where required, supervision of audit engagement teams and ensuring that engagements are completed according to predefined audit schedules and timelines

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

Matric
Bcom IT /BSc IT degree
Completed CISA or CISM certification will be advantageous

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

5 to 7 years Internal Audit experience
2 to 4 years Risk Management experience
Experience in financial services or property industry would be an advantageous
