POSITION INFO:

An exciting opportunity exists with a leading Financial Services company for an Internal Auditor, to be based out of their offices in Cape Town. In addition to overseeing the below-listed responsibilities, the successful candidate will be exposed to business strategies across multiple levels of the organisation, on a global scale.

Responsibilities:

Building and maintaining good relationships with the business and key stakeholders
Thorough understanding and application of the businesses Internal Audit methodology
Planning of reviews and determining the risks, controls and testing strategy in line with the Internal Audit methodology
Perform audit testing as outlined in the testing strategy
Identify risks / weaknesses with relevant line management
Finalise reports with senior management.
Involvement in ''High'' risk regulatory change projects to ensure that potential issues are identified early and resolved.
Share knowledge and experiences with the team.

Requirements:

Qualified CA(SA)/CIA
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
Knowledge of Accounting, Internal Audit Standards and Risk Based Audit Methodologies
Previous experience in the Asset Management Industry is essential
Basic IT Internal Audit knowledge is advantageous
