Position: Internal Auditor

Location: Wadeville, Johannesburg

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor with expertise in Sage Evolution software to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assurance on the effectiveness of internal controls and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Conduct internal audits of business processes, financial statements, and information systems to identify control weaknesses and areas for improvement
Prepare audit reports that clearly communicate audit findings and recommendations to management
Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Provide guidance and training to employees on internal controls and best practices
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential areas of vulnerability and develop risk management strategies
Utilize Sage software to conduct audits, extract data, and perform data analysis
Stay current on industry developments, emerging risks, and regulatory requirements that may impact the company's operations

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional certification such as CIA, CISA, or ACCA preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal audit, accounting, or related field
Expertise in using Sage Evolution software to conduct audits, extract data, and perform data analysis
Strong knowledge of internal control concepts and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
