POSITION INFO:
A leading system integration company is seeking an Internal Sales Engineer with strong knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I), PLC and SCADA systems, and a background in MCCs and panel manufacturing. Originally founded as a software-focused business, the company has evolved into a full-service automation provider, delivering bespoke solutions across diverse industries.

The Internal Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in developing proposals, preparing BOMs, supporting client solutions, and working closely with engineering, procurement, and project teams, to ensure technically sound and cost-effective outcomes. Ideal candidates will hold a relevant engineering qualification and have 3–5 years of experience in internal technical sales or automation environments, with a solid understanding of industrial automation systems. Strong communication, technical acumen, and organizational skills are essential.

Education:

• BEng Electronic Engineering

• Understand clients' needs and project requirements in automation and electrical systems.
• Support the development of tailored solutions involving MCCs, control panels, PLCs, SCADA, and instrumentation.
• Work closely with engineering and external sales to prepare competitive, accurate proposals and quotations.
• Create detailed and cost-effective Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical scope documents.
• Assist with technical documentation, tender support, and project planning.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure feasibility, alignment, and timely delivery.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and competitor offerings.
• Provide internal coordination and pre-sales support throughout the sales cycle.
• Build strong internal and external relationships to support business development efforts.
