POSITION INFO:
A leading system integration company is seeking an Internal Sales Engineer with strong knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I), PLC and SCADA systems, and a background in MCCs and panel manufacturing. Originally founded as a software-focused business, the company has evolved into a full-service automation provider, delivering bespoke solutions across diverse industries. The Internal Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in developing proposals, preparing BOMs, supporting client solutions, and working closely with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure technically sound and cost-effective outcomes. Ideal candidates will hold a relevant engineering qualification and have 3–5 years of experience in internal technical sales or automation environments, with a solid understanding of industrial automation systems. Strong communication, technical acumen, and organizational skills are essential.

Education:

BEng Electronic Engineering

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Understand client needs and project requirements in automation and electrical systems.
Support the development of tailored solutions involving MCCs, control panels, PLCs, SCADA, and instrumentation.
Work closely with engineering and external sales to prepare competitive, accurate proposals and quotations.
Create detailed and cost-effective Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical scope documents.
Assist with technical documentation, tender support, and project planning.
Liaise with internal departments to ensure feasibility, alignment, and timely delivery.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and competitor offerings.
Provide internal coordination and pre-sales support throughout the sales cycle.
Build strong internal and external relationships to support business development efforts.
