Internal Sales Administrator

SUMMARY:
A Manufacturer / Equipment & Accessories / Consumables Supplier is seeking and Internal Sales Administrator for their company, industry experience includes: Mining, oil, gas type industries.

Purpose:
Reporting to the Territory Supervisor, the successful candidate will provide professional internal sales, customer service and administrative support within the assigned territory. The role is responsible for managing the full Enquiry, Quotation and Order (EQO) process and serving as a key link between customers, Sales, Procurement, Stores, Dispatch, Finance and Operations.

Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Diploma or relevant qualification in Sales Administration, 
  Business Administration, Customer Service, Supply Chain,
  Logistics.
- NDT Knowledge will be advantageous

Experience:
- Minimum 2 to 5 years' experience in Internal Sales
  Administration, Customer Service, Sales Support, Order
  Processing or a similar commercial administration environment.
- Experience preparing quotations and processing sales orders.
- Experience working with ERP, CRM or sales administration
   systems will be advantageous.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: - Managing customer enquiries, quotations and sales orders accurately and timeously. - Preparing professional quotations and ensuring pricing, stock availability and delivery requirements are confirmed. - Processing sales orders and maintaining accurate customer records on CRM and ERP systems. - Following up on quotations, open orders, backorders and customer requests. - Providing professional customer service and support to both customers and external Sales Representatives. - Coordinating with Procurement, Stores, Dispatch, Finance and Operations to ensure smooth order fulfilment. - Assisting with customer delivery queries, returns, credits and documentation requests. - Maintaining sales administration reports, quotation trackers and order status updates. - Ensuring all customer and sales documentation is complete, accurate and audit-ready. - Supporting sales growth through proactive customer engagement and effective follow-up. - Sending order confirmations and keeping customers up to date at different order status. - Costing of special transaction. - Managing customer consignment warehouses. - Assisting walk in customers. - Generating customer accounts and maintaining correct customer data on ERP system. - Working with the Expediting team on the promise to customer to meet the on -time-delivery and drive GP.
