JOB SUMMARY:
A well-established international chemical raw materials comany requires the above to drive all internal sales administration into a variety of industries such as coatings, plastics, food and personal care manufacturing markets working closely with the sales team as well as management to ensure that customer needs are met.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

A relevant tertiary qualification would be preferred but is not essential.
Previous internal sales experience working within the chemical or related industries would be an advantage.
Previous experience having processed orders and having liaised with customers are essential for the role.
Must be computer literate with very good MS Office skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Driving all internal sales administration into a variety of industries such as coatings, plastics, food and personal care manufacturing
Liaising with the logistics manager to ensure that all shortages and damages are reported within the stated time limit.
Coordinating and assisting customers in terms of meeting their product requirements.
Processing sales orders, delivery notes and invoices on the system.
Monitoring office operations and action processes as set out in the standard operating procedures pertaining to stock receipt, stock counts and stock dispatching.
Receiving, processing and monitoring of customer orders and manufacturing orders.
Capturing sales orders and following up on deliveries.
Following up on daily reports for stock and deliveries.
Liaising with customers and external sales representatives on a daily basis to update them on the progress of orders and to make sure customer requirements are fulfilled.
Ensurng that all customer complaints, issues and queries reach a successful and appropriate conclusion, including account queries.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
