JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a suitably experienced Internal Sales Consultant for our client based in the Northern Suburbs. Our client is a leading provider and distributor of mild steel pipes, fittings, and flanges in South Africa, with branches throughout the Country.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Handling of all inbound sales queries
Following up with customers weekly
Following up with couriers to check where stock is
Customer Service calls to ensure clients are happy
Quotes to existing and potential clients
Informing clients of stock availability and lead times and what branch stock will be coming from
Accurate invoicing to clients
Capturing of invoices on Syspro
Advise customers on available stock/alternatives
Stock arrival dates
Handle all customer claims
Follow-ups with customers to ensure that complaints or claims have been dealt with
Assisting reps with claims, stock availability, specials, etc
Follow-ups and informing clients of return policies
Informing Rep of returns from customers for collection

Requirements:

Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role (counter / internal sales) and industry (sheet metal/steel / piping)
Highly knowledgeable in relevant products within the industry
Professional and friendly demeanour.
Computer literate and experience with SYSPRO
Self-motivated, organised, and excellent communication skills.
Strong team player and sales driven.
