An international leader in engineering solutions—traditionally strong in the mining industry—are are on the hunt for a Sales Engineer to join their team at the South African office. This is an office-based role, ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, detail-driven environment and enjoys seeing projects through from tender to aftersales support.
This is not a door-to-door role—it’s strategic, technical, and administrative sales at its best.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical field
Previous experience in a sales or commercial support role (quoting, tenders, proposals, etc.)
Ability to understand technical drawings, specifications, and mechanical components
South African citizenship or valid work permit

Job Experience & Skills Required

Experience working with clients in the mining sector preferred
Exposure to the full sales cycle, including proposal creation, quoting, pricing, and negotiation
Strong project management abilities—you’ll manage timelines, specs, and aftersales follow-up
Proficient in MS Office and CRM or ERP systems
Comfortable handling administrative tasks that support the broader sales function
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to juggle multiple priorities and work well with technical and commercial teams
