Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Technical qualification (chemical, mechanical, or similar) AND/OR proven experience in internal sales for lab or scientific equipment
• Technical aptitude – ability to understand basic engineering or laboratory principles
• Strong client service orientation and professional communication skills
• Ability to manage quotations, orders, and follow-ups with precision
• Confident in working independently and managing multiple client requests

Job Experience & Skills Required

• Handle inbound enquiries, prepare quotes, and assist with pricing negotiations
• Follow up on quotes and turn prospects into successful orders
• Liaise with procurement, logistics, and service teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Provide aftersales support and maintain strong customer relationships
• Maintain CRM systems, generate sales reports, and assist external reps when needed
• Work closely with the product specialists to stay current on technical details and product capabilities
