Internal Sales Manager / Sales Administrator
Location: Port Elizabeth

POSITION INFO:
The Internal Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily administration and coordination of the sales office. The role includes handling customer enquiries, processing sales orders, coordinating production schedules, arranging deliveries, managing customer documentation, and ensuring efficient communication between customers, production, logistics, and dispatch teams. The successful candidate will contribute to smooth operational flow and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Sales Administration Manage the day-to-day operations of the sales office. Answer incoming sales calls and respond to customer enquiries professionally. Assist walk-in customers with product information and sales support. Prepare and issue customer quotations. Capture sales orders accurately on the system. Process customer invoicing. Process RFCs and credit notes for customers. Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation. Production & Planning Coordination Liaise with the production team regarding customer orders and stock requirements. Assist with production planning and scheduling. Monitor order progress to ensure deadlines are met. Logistics & Dispatch Coordination Coordinate logistics and dispatch processes. Arrange delivery bookings and schedules for nationwide customer deliveries. Ensure delivery notes are signed by transporters and customers for filing purposes. Follow up on outstanding or missing delivery documentation. Customer Service Conduct after-sales follow-ups with customers. Build and maintain strong customer relationships. Resolve customer queries efficiently and professionally. Administration Maintain accurate filing systems and documentation. Ensure all sales and operational records are updated and organised. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 \/ Matric. Minimum 10 years' experience in a sales administration or internal sales environment. Strong administrative and organisational skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Computer literate. Experience on Pastel will be advantageous but is not essential. Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Excellent coordination and planning abilities. Strong problem-solving skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of accuracy and accountability. Salary Market-related and dependent on experience. Working Hours Standard office hours with additional hours when operationally required.
