 Aftermarket Regional Manager, Kathu, Northern Cape, R85,000 CTC per month Sector: Mining & Heavy Mineral Processing Equipment Are you a technical sales leader who thrives where the rubber meets the road-or rather, where the iron meets the ore? We are looking for a high-performing Aftermarket Regional Manager to spearhead our service, spares, and refurbishment footprint across the Northern Cape. Based in the mining hub of Kathu, you will be the face of our aftersales operations, driving growth at major sites (including Sishen's jig plant) and leading dedicated service teams on the ground. What You'll Bring to the Table Your Experience: Industry Veteran: 5+ years of success in aftersales, technical sales, site\/service management, or business development specifically within the mining or heavy equipment industry. Technical DNA: Deep knowledge of mineral separation and comminution equipment is essential. You know how these machines breathe. Track Record: A proven history of smashed sales targets and built-to-last client relationships. Local Advantage: Previous experience navigating the Northern Cape mining sector is highly advantageous. Your Toolkit: Elite communication, negotiation, and customer-focused problem-solving skills. The autonomy to work independently and the appetite for extensive regional travel. A valid driver's licence, reliable transport, and full proficiency in MS Office. Your Core Mission & Responsibilities As the regional heavyweight, you will own the lifecycle of our aftermarket success: Sales & Market Expansion: Execute aggressive growth strategies for spare parts, maintenance solutions, and refurbishment contracts. You'll specifically target market share expansion at key mines and maximize the spares\/service business at Sishen's jig plant. Relationship Management: Act as the trusted technical partner to key clients, mining companies, and processing plants-troubleshooting their issues and optimizing their equipment lifespans. Service Team Leadership: Build, train, and manage dedicated local service teams to ensure rapid-response, high-efficiency maintenance deployment. Inventory & Refurbishment Control: Oversee local critical spares inventory and collaborate with engineering and procurement to implement strategic machine-refurbishment programs. Intelligence & Reporting: Monitor competitor activity, analyze Northern Cape market trends, and feed accurate sales forecasts back to management. The Setup This is a dynamic, blended office and field-based role. You'll be deeply embedded in the Northern Cape mining ecosystem, interacting daily with internal engineering teams, technical service providers, and mine plant managers right on-site.
