POSITION INFO:
This opportunity offers exposure to intricate global tax structures, African tax authorities, and transfer pricing engagements within a lean, agile team. You’ll play a key role in advising clients, crafting practical tax strategies, and navigating evolving international tax frameworks. If you enjoy a hands-on, Big 4-style advisory environment but prefer less bureaucracy and more impact, this could be the right move.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert guidance on international corporate tax matters, including double taxation agreements, withholding tax, and Pillar 2 developments.
Prepare and review detailed tax opinions, advisory memoranda, and professional correspondence.
Manage tax dispute resolution processes, including objections and appeals with relevant revenue authorities.
Design and implement FTO structures and other cross-border tax planning solutions.
Work closely with internal teams to support financial modelling, technical analysis, and knowledge development.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Qualified Lawyer OR CA(SA) – a legal background will be advantageous.
7 to 10+ years' post-articles experience with strong exposure to international corporate tax, transfer pricing, African tax jurisdictions, and advisory work.
Excellent technical writing, tax structuring, and client engagement skills. Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a small, collaborative team environment.
