Gijima is recruiting Field Service Engineer Interns for the following areas for an internship program: -

• 2 x KwaZulu Natal (Durban)
• 1 x KwaZulu Natal (Newcastle)
• 1 x KwaZulu Natal (Richards Bay)

POSITION INFO:
The criteria is as follows:- Candidates must have completed a 3-year tertiary qualification in IT (i.e. Diploma in IT; Support Services, Computer Systems, Bsc. in IT ) A valid driver's license will be an advantage Candidates must be computer literate and must be proficient in the MS Office Suite, Access, e-mail, internet No criminal record Must currently be unemployed Must not be participating on another learnership or internship program Must currently not be enrolled with any other tertiary institution Must currently live in the above areas (relocation is NOT an option) Must be under the age of 35 as of 31 July 2026 Must be a South African Citizen - African, Coloured and Indian COMPETENCIES\/SKILLS REQUIRED:- IT Diploma CompTIA A+ and N+ Relevant OEM certifications (HP, Dell, Lenovo) ITIL v3 Foundations Certificate (advantageous) Cisco Essentials RESPONSIBILITIES End user support - Resolve logged incidents Communicate, dress, and display positive attitude Ensure incident is resolved on first contact within SLA Ensure compliance to pending rules is followed Quality data input - Ensure that data captured on Resolve IT incident is accurate Preventative maintenance - Identify possible risks Deploy, Monitor, Repair, Support & Manage Desktop, Manage Windows Operating Systems, Office Automation Software, Printers, Scanners Setup desktops & peripherals & test network connections, install software ONLY CANDIDATES WHO MEET THE CRITERIA MUST APPLY.
