Gijima is recruiting 1 x Fraud Risk intern for their Internal Audit division in Midrand.  The successful candidate must have background in risk, compliance, investigations, finance, or audit. Must have knowledge of regulatory requirements and fraud‑prevention frameworks

POSITION INFO:
The criteria is as follows:- Candidates must have completed a qualification in Fraud and Forensic Investigations or similar qualification Experience with fraud‑monitoring systems (e.g., Verafin, BioCatch) will be advantageous Candidates must be computer literate and must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, internet Clear credit (ITC) and no criminal record Candidates must currently be unemployed Candidates must not currently be enrolled with any other tertiary institution Candidates must not be participating on another learnership or internship program Candidates must live in Gauteng (preferably in the Midrand area) - relocation is NOT an option Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 35 as of 1 July 2026 Candidates must be a South African Citizen - African, Asian and Coloured Competencies\/Skills Required: - Analytical thinking and pattern recognition Attention to detail and strong decision making Data interpretation and problem‑solving skills Technical proficiency with fraud‑detection tools and reporting systems Clear communication and report‑writing abilities Time management and confidentiality Responsibilities: - Case management Assist with the management of the fraud hotline. Conduct investigations, gather evidence, interview stakeholders, & document findings. Prepare investigation reports. Maintain accurate case records & support regulatory reporting.
