SUMMARY:

A leading manufacturer in the mining industry has an opportunity for an experienced Inventory Accountant to accurately and meaningfully analyze the company’s inventory activities

POSITION INFO:

Requirements

Comm degree or equivalent
CIMA would be an advantage

Responsibilities include

Recording inventory counts to the inventory sub-ledger and performing variance analysis
Conduct and report on variance analysis and performing corrections
Ensure timely and accurate closing of inventory sub-ledgers, including reconciliations, journal entries, review of exception reporting, and analysis of financial statement components
Prepare for internal and external audits
