Inventory Production Controller - Kempton Park

POSITION INFO:
Requirements: Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (LN info advantageous) Inventory control and management expertise Understanding of production processes, BOMs, and material flows Audit and reconciliation skills High attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Ability to enforce rules while maintaining collaborative relationships Excellent communication and documentation skills Proactive mindset with continuous-improvement orientation Diploma or certificate in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, or related field (advantageous) 2-5 years of experience in inventory control or production logistics Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing environments Responsibilities: Oversee and execute the goods receiving process in alignment with LN Info ERP workflows Verify all incoming raw materials, consumables, and subcontracted items for accuracy, quality, and documentation. Ensure all receipts are captured timeously and accurately in the ERP system Resolve receiving discrepancies, shortages, and over-deliveries with procurement and suppliers. Maintain accurate inventory records through continuous monitoring and transaction integrity Conduct and coordinate monthly cycle counts, ensuring adherence to company policy Investigate stock variances and implement corrective actions to reduce stock loss Monitor inventory levels to support production planning and prevent material shortages. Develop and enforce best practices for issuing raw materials and components to production orders Ensure timely and accurate picking and issuing of materials to production in LN Info Reconcile issued vs consumed materials and escalate anomalies Manage the movement and tracking of materials sent for subcontracting Ensure all subcontractor receipts, returns, and consumptions are accurately recorded Uphold company inventory policies and ensure compliance across production teams Identify non-compliance or process breakdowns and implement improvements Train and support production staff of correct ERP usage and inventory processes Lead initiatives to strengthen inventory control and reduce operational waste Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, and Production to develop improved workflows Benchmark and implement industry best practices for inventory governance Please note that if you do not receive a response within 2 weeks, your application has been unsuccessful.
