Inverter Sales (Midrand, Gauteng)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The sales incumbent is the person in charge of managing a company''s relationships with its customers. They are in charge of developing new market, new customers, and building long-term relationships with a group of customers and generally stay with customers for the length of their relationship with the company. The goal is to keep clients or accounts as long as possible. Will be in charge of finding new business; be assigned prospects, given accounts, or a combination thereof. Tasks may involve project management, strategic planning, sales support, product design, service application, logistics, and marketing.

Responsibilities:

ØEstablishing new business and promotion of Inverter Sales.
ØAble to independently design and write project plans and project proposals, and have the ability to explain plans and presentations to users.
ØAbility to independently write presentations.
ØBe the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers.
ØHelp customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in person meetings.
ØDevelop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
ØEnsure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
ØCommunicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
ØForecast and track key account metrics.
ØEnhance department and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
ØExploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
ØResponsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis.
ØMonitor and analyze customer’s usage of our product.
ØResponsible for working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships.
ØLiaise between the customer and internal teams.

Educational Background:

ØBSc Degree in Electrical, Electronic Power, Energy and related majors.
ØMatric.

Work Experience:

ØMore than 3 years working experience in new energy industry.
ØMore than 3 years sales experience in selling inverters.
ØMore than 3 years working experience in photovoltaic system, micro grid, energy storage and other related pre-sales technical support.
ØProven work experience as in a Sales role.
ØFamiliar with industry applications and related knowledge.
ØMore than three years of relevant product technical support work experience, familiar with the basic principles of micro grids, photovoltaic power stations and energy storage, and can provide users with reasonable technical support for the project.

Technical leaders in charge of projects that have independently participated or mainly participated in micro grid / photovoltaic / energy storage are preferred.
