Investment Administration Specialist

Great opportunity to join an Investment Manager in Cape Town as an Investment Administration Specialist. 

The ideal candidate would have 2-5 years' Investment Administration experience, within an Asset Manager or a 3rd party administrator. Experience in Unit Trusts / Pension Funds would be preferable. This person should have excellent numerical skills with the ability to handle large quantities of sensitive client data. Have a great attention to detail; thinks in a structured way; be a people person with good communication skills and take pride in producing a high standard of work at all times. 

Some key areas of responsibility include: 

• Unitisation and cash flow management of client funds including:
  • Determination of unit prices
  • Daily collection of asset manager data
  • Management of the investment strategy, and processing of the clients' cash flows between the administrator and asset manager
• Production of reports 
• Analysing of fund returns
• Preparing of Asset Allocations and Rebalances of portfolios
• Approving and authorising transactions and banking transactions
