Duties:

• Drive the implementation and optimisation of the investment operating model to ensure the business receives appropriate investment capabilities, both internally and externally.
• Manage the investment forums to ensure prioritisation and alignment of investment capabilities and initiatives with the business objectives.
• Supervise the execution of responsibilities for internal and external research and management teams, aligning with client and shareholder targets.
• Contribute to setting the strategic direction for translating business principles into investment strategies, products, and solutions.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and performance of investment strategies, products, and solutions, identifying opportunities to enhance client experience and profitability.
• Identify opportunities to capitalise on strategic relationships and alliances for new investment or growth opportunities.
• Present investment reports and insights to executive forums, providing senior management with a comprehensive view of investment performance industry benchmarks, client, and shareholder expectations.
• Oversee the research, assessment, and recommendations of suitable asset managers, ensuring the integrity of the investment process.
• Foster and sustain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to maintaining a competitive edge through external networking and representation.

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• BCom Investment Management / Finance / Risk Management
• BCom Honours Investment Management / Finance / Risk Management
• CFA is advantageous

• 5 – 10 Years of experience in Investment Management and Research
• Must have experience in portfolio management
• Must have experience in asset management
• Having a business development background is advantageous
