POSITION INFO:

Great opportunity to enter into a well-rated Asset Manager as an Investment Analyst. This role is responsible for assisting with investment research and portfolio management.

This is a Cape Town based opportunity.

Â

Core involvement includes:

Management of portfolios/funds, through management of client, benchmark and market-initiated events.Â
Improving investment process to minimise the occurrence of errors.
Proactive engagement with clients and service providers.
Conduct research and analysis as required by clients.
Fulfil any client reporting requirements, accurately within deadlines.

Key requirements:Â

Honours degree with quantitative focus e.g., Maths/Stats/Accounting/Investments
3-5 years relevant experience in financial services
Quantitative and financial modelling experience
Advanced knowledge of Excel.Â
Good understanding of the investment environment and financial markets; equity, fixed income and derivative markets
