Employer Description My client is an agricultural company that develops, manufactures and supplies plant nutrition and soil health solutions. Job Description The Agronomist is responsible for providing expert technical support and agronomic advice to customers, sales teams and distribution partners. The role focuses on improving crop performance through the effective use of plant nutrition, bio stimulant and soil health solutions Conduct on-farm visits to assess crop health, soil conditions and nutrient requirements Develop customised crop nutrition and soil management programmes for a range of crops Diagnose crop production challenges, including nutrient deficiencies, soil health issues and environmental stresses Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, distributors and agricultural consultants Deliver technical support before, during and after product implementation Plan, establish and monitor product demonstration trials across different crops and regions Collect, analyse and interpret trial data. Partner with the Technical Sales team during customer visits and product presentations Stay informed on developments in crop production, soil science and agricultural technologies Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, Agriculture or a related field Skills 5-8 years' experience in agronomy, crop production or technical agricultural support Strong understanding of plant nutrition, soil fertility and crop management Experience interpreting soil, water and tissue analysis Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively to farms within the assigned region
