SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a detail-driven JSE Sponsor Associate to join their high-performing Sponsor Services team within a Corporate Finance / Investment Banking environment. This opportunity offers exposure to high-profile capital markets transactions, listed companies, and regulatory advisory within the South African listed environment.
The successful candidate will support transaction execution and ongoing regulatory advisory, working closely with senior sponsors, clients, and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) on a range of corporate actions, listings, and compliance matters.
POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements 2-5 years' experience in corporate finance, investment banking, transaction advisory, sponsor services, or a related field Experience within capital markets transactions, including IPOs, capital raisings, or M&A transactions (advantageous) Strong understanding of financial markets and regulatory environments Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment Degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field CA(SA), CFA, or LLB qualification would be advantageous Completion of the Sponsor Development Programme would be advantageous Registration as a JSE Equity Approved Executive or JSE Debt Approved Executive would be advantageous Key Responsibilities Support senior sponsors with IPOs, capital raisings, M&A transactions, and other corporate finance activities Review and prepare SENS announcements, circulars, listing documentation, and regulatory submissions Advise clients on JSE Listings Requirements and ongoing compliance obligations Liaise with the JSE regarding submissions, approvals, and technical queries Assist with due diligence processes and transaction coordination Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and transaction-related documentation Monitor regulatory developments and market trends affecting listed companies Provide support throughout the transaction lifecycle while ensuring compliance with JSE requirements Please apply directly by clicking on the Apply button or visit If you have not had any response within one week, please consider your application unsuccessful.
