A well-established legal practice based in Umhlanga Ridge is urgently seeking an experienced and reliable Junior Commercial / Litigation Secretary to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a genuine interest in legal secretarial work, who has solid litigation experience and is looking for a long-term position within a professional legal environment.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to an attorney specialising in commercial and litigation matters Prepare, type and format legal correspondence, pleadings, documents, and dictation with a high level of accuracy Assist with High Court and Magistrates' Court matters and have a basic understanding of relevant litigation procedures Manage the attorney's diary, filing, appointments and general office administration Maintain professional communication with clients, colleagues, counsel, and other relevant parties Minimum Requirements: Minimum 2 years' proven experience as a litigation secretary, with exposure to High Court and Magistrates' Court procedures Excellent dictation typing, written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong MS Office and general computer skills, with a professional presentation, reliable work ethic, and excellent organisational abilities Correspondence will only be conducted with short listed candidates.
