Looking for a Jnr. Draughtsman in Boksburg Gauteng. Must have knowledge in drawing practices and project management.

POSITION INFO:

Jnr. Draughtsman

Reporting to: Operations
Type: Contractor

Job Summary:

Utilise computer aided draughting methods to translate design information and specifications into schematics, technical drawings, and production plans.

Competencies:

Technical competency
Project management
3-5 years technical and draughting experience
Knowledge of material specifications
Computer skills (including Creo modelling, Windchill administration & MS Office)
Manufacturing/heavy engineering experience, strong assemblies, BOMs, and ideally Creo (strong preference).
Decision making
Attention to detail
Goal oriented

Roles and Responsibilities:

Create technical drawings, manufacturing schematics and 3D digital models of mechanical component designs
Coordinate with engineers to understand project requirements
Assist in ongoing projects to standardise design document standards

Qualifications:

Relevant tertiary qualification in draughting
1-3 Years experience in a similar position
Proficient with Creo modelling
Manufacturing/heavy engineering experience preferred
