SUMMARY:

We are looking for a driven and detail-focused Bank Reconciliation Specialist with hands-on experience in Sage Evolution to join a dynamic finance team in Johannesburg East. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of bank and cashbook transactions through effective reconciliation processes.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations Reconcile multiple bank accounts and ensure financial accuracy Investigate and resolve reconciling discrepancies and queries Process and match payments, receipts, and journal entries Maintain accurate cashbook records on Sage Evolution Ensure correct allocation and posting of all transactions Liaise with banks and internal departments to resolve variances Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Prepare reconciliation reports and supporting documentation Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures Minimum Requirements Diploma or Degree in Accounting \/ Finance \/ Bookkeeping 2-4 years' experience in bank reconciliations Sage Evolution experience (essential) Strong understanding of cashbook and general ledger functions High accuracy and strong attention to detail Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Key Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Excellent attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Strong organisational and time management skills Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills Advantageous Experience with high-volume transactions Exposure to multi-entity or multi-bank environments Experience assisting with audits APPLY NOW email:
