SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their team. The incumbent will manage the accounting function for the branch

Location: Somerset

POSITION INFO:
Key requirement

BCOM degree in Accounting or related
Additional qualifications will be advantageous
1-2 years minimum relevant of experience in a an accounting environment
Proficiency in Xero, Quickbooks or similar accounting systems
Working knowledge of basis supply chain processes including inventory, purchasing and cost tracking
Strong Excel and data analysis skills
Hight attention to details, accuracy and ability to work independently

Key responsibility

Handle full accounting function
Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries and month-end procedures
Process and monitor accounts payable and receivable
Compilation of annual financial statements
Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
Liaise with clients and key partners
Work closely with the head of finance to support the division's growth
