Company and Job Description:

This role offers the chance to grow within a data focused environment where you will support reporting development database querying and insight generation. The successful candidate will work closely with senior technical resources to learn how business requirements are translated into meaningful data outputs. You will gain exposure to database environments cloud based data platforms and reporting tools while being supported through structured guidance and mentorship. The position is well suited to a motivated individual looking to strengthen practical skills and develop a long term career in business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the creation and maintenance of reports and dashboards
Write and improve SQL queries to retrieve and structure data
Support data pipeline activities within cloud based data environments
Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
Validate data accuracy and resolve basic data issues
Maintain documentation related to queries reports and data flows
Escalate complex challenges to senior team members when required

Job Experience and Skills Required:

A diploma or degree in information technology computer science engineering or a related field
One to two years experience within a data analysis reporting or business intelligence role
Exposure to SQL Server database environments is essential
Any practical exposure to cloud based data platforms is advantageous
Ability to write intermediate SQL queries including joins and aggregations
Basic understanding of reporting or data visualisation tools
Strong attention to detail and problem solving ability
Clear communication skills and a collaborative working approach
Willingness to learn and grow under guidance
