Junior Business Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Overview

The role of the junior business analyst is an important part of the data project team that services the sales and marketing team within the TELCO industry. They will act as the key interface between the end-users and the data project team. They are primarily responsible for gathering information, documenting business processes, confirming the final documents with users and managing aspects of the delivery of technical solutions which primarily include dashboards and adhoc querying of datasets.

Primary Responsibilities:

Gather and document all requirements for existing and new reporting needs and manage this process till delivery.
Manage report development projects as and when they are allocated and ensure the correct documents are provided:
1. BRS,
2. Technical Specifications,
3. Project Plans,
4. Backlog,
5. Wireframing.
6. Provide peer and UAT testing plans and facilitate these.
7. Complete all daily tasks due which include creating targeted audiences for marketing purposes.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years in the BA role and experience in a TELCO or related industry.
Intermediate SQL syntax and data querying in AWS environment (knowledge and proficiency of s3, Glue and Athena services)
Intermediate data analysis skills
Intermediate Project Management skills
Intermediate documentation and communication skills
Competency in JIRA, MS applications
Strong personality that can work in a high-demand environment.
