SUMMARY:
Our client, that operates within the international oil and gas industry, is looking for a Junior Computer Engineer to join their dynamic team. This position is fully remote.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement software solutions.
Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
Assist with project planning, monitoring progress, and ensuring the timely delivery of milestones.
Debug and troubleshoot software issues, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards.
Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to the field.
Support software systems and project implementation.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in computer engineering (from the University of Pretoria).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Solid understanding of programming languages such as C#, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with MS SQL Server and proficiency in SQL (T-SQL) query language would be beneficial.
Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.
Basic knowledge of hardware systems and computer architecture.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
