Junior Conveyancer & Notary Junior Career (2 - 4 yrs exp) Overview: We are seeking a Junior Conveyancer & Notary to join our legal team in the Western Cape region. This position is based in the Northern Suburbs \/ Boland region of Cape Town. Duties and Responsibilities: Attending to signature of transfer and bond documents for all major banks. Building and maintaining strong client relationships. Conducting signature of documents at our offices located in Paarl and Durbanville respectively as well as externally at clients' preferred locations. Preparing and registering long-term lease agreements (notarial leases) and providing legal advice pertaining to such matters. Preparing and registering antenuptial contracts and providing legal advice pertaining to such matters and other notarial work. Skills and Qualifications: Admitted attorney with Conveyancing exam completed. Minimum 2 years post-admission conveyancing experience in both bond and transfer registrations. Professional presentation and excellent interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel for signature of documents. Strong attention to detail during document execution.
