An opportunity is available with one of the top competitors in the Banking industry for a Junior Credit Risk Analyst who will be exposed to credit risk reporting.

Job & Company Description:
My client, one of the Big 4 Banks, is looking to provide an opportunity for a Junior Credit Risk Analyst to become part of their team of risk specialists in order to obtain specialist knowledge, skills and expertise in the management of credit risk. This candidate will be responsible for supporting and contributing to the credit risk analysis and policy recommendations, providing data visualisation and providing support to various departments in the organization. The ideal candidate must be able to effectively understand and interpret the statistical practices and techniques in credit risk space, have relevant experience in computer languages such as SAS and Python and be able to actively engage with stakeholders.

Education:

BSc Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Quantitative Risk Management
Honours Degree will be advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum of 0 to 2 years’ experience in quantitative credit risk
Good understanding of relevant computer coding languages
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in SAS, SQL, Python etc.
Ability to work well under pressure
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
