A leading firm in financial analytics is seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Graduate or Junior Data Scientist to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg. POSITION INFO:
What You’ll Do:

Collect, clean, and transform financial data
Assist with building and refining machine learning models
Support anomaly detection and automation tools
Create impactful dashboards and reports in Power BI
Collaborate with Engineers, Analysts, and business teams
Identify ways to improve data workflows and insights

What You’ll Bring:

A Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
0–2 years’ experience (interns welcome!)
Proficiency in Python (pandas, matplotlib, and scikit-learn)
Basic SQL and familiarity with Power BI and Excel
Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
