POSITION INFO:
Position Title: Junior Distribution Planner
Reporting To: Control Tower Lead – Operations
Location: Germiston

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in distribution planning, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Basic understanding of logistics, distribution planning, and expediting processes.
Exposure to data analysis and reporting.
Familiarity with transportation management systems and supply chain optimization.

Core Responsibilities

Distribution Planning

Assist in executing delivery plans and optimizing routes.
Coordinate inventory, production, warehousing, and transport.

Expediting Services

Fast-track orders to meet urgent needs.
Resolve delivery issues with suppliers and carriers.
Provide shipment updates to stakeholders.

Operational Events

Support handling of delays and disruptions.
Assist in contingency planning and issue resolution.

Ad Hoc Orders

Plan and manage urgent, unplanned deliveries.
Ensure timely execution and accurate tracking.

Data & Reporting

Maintain records of orders, schedules, and inventory.
Assist with performance reporting and data analysis.

Collaboration

Align with internal teams and external partners.
Communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations.

Salary: R20k
