JOB SUMMARY:
Are you a technically minded individual with experience managing estimations and quotations?
We require your accurate ability with costings for estimations with minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience. You must be able to communicate well in Afrikaans and English to deal with the customers.
Ideally your expertise should be dealing with the signage, aluminium & steel sector and you require a good mathematical ability.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS

Prepare costings and quotations on computer system based on information provided by Project Managers
Understand and interpret technical drawings
Compile and submit tenders
Ensure quotation turn around are swift and quotations are sent out within 24-48hrs
Implement and maintain standard price lists for ongoing key account customers
Escalate quotation queries to costing manager in order to resolve timeously and effectively
Help to complete works orders and prepare for submission to factory
Assist to manage subcontractors on buyout jobs
Assist buyer with queries
Managing spreadsheets
Filing
Adhering to high ethical and professional standards

DUTIES

Matric
Technically minded
Minimum one - two years’ experience in an estimation capacity
Dealing with Steel, Aluminium, Signage etc
Independent thinker
Ability to work well under pressure
Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans
Problem solving skills
Results driven

Salary: R dependent on experience
