JOB SUMMARY:
Junior Hardware Engineer (Century City, Cape Town)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Roles & Outcomes:

vElectronic hardware design.

vSchematic capture & PCB layout.

vPCB soldering and prototyping.

vProduct assembly and testing.

vMechanical design where applicable (limited).

vHardware assistance to software developers.

vTesting procedure documentation and maintenance.

Education & Qualifications:

vUniversity degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or similar.

vExcellent work ethics, punctual, enthusiastic and willing to learn.

vFluent in spoken and written English.

vTeam player with the ability to work in small teams.

v

Experience:

vExperience with schematic design and PCB layout.

vExperience with PCB CAD software (any software applicable, Altium preferred).

vExperience in soldering, electronic assembly and testing.

vExperience in product testing and fault finding.

vWork experience in a similar field would be advantageous.

vGeneral computer skills including word, excel, etc.

vGeneral Linux scripting and coding skills would be advantageous.

vAbility to work without constant supervision and micromanagement.

vValid SA driving license and own reliable transport.
