Junior Investment Analyst

Seeking a highly motivated individual to provide support to the senior analysts and management team of a boutique, high net worth, private wealth company.

Requires a high level of attention to detail, superior communication skills and able to work well within a collaborative team approach.

This roles is based in Cape Town. 

Key job functions, duties and responsibilities: 

• Reporting: preparing, populating, reviewing and developing client reports; updating market performance data sheets; monitoring client performance. 
• Research & Analysis: fund performance review; company research; analysis of investment opportunities and presenting findings in well-structured report. 
• Fund Manager Research: sourcing and maintenance of Fund Manager data; updating data for monthly meetings; due diligence. 
• Client Strategy Management: assisting in the general oversight and management of client strategies; formulating and drafting recommendations; assist with client queries and participate in meetings 

Required skills and personal attributes:

• Business degree: B.Com/B.Bus.Sci in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management
• Progress towards CFA beneficial.
• 1-3 years experience in Financial Services, in particular with FAIS
• Highly analytical
• Attention to detail
• Commitment to client service
