POSITION INFO:

Hiring: Junior operations Estimator (Kempton Park) - The candidate must have a proven track record within the Clearing & Forwarding industry.

Responsibilities:

- Quoting and costing

- Compiling sea freight and airfreight import and export estimates for international agents.

- Ensure that estimate request turnaround times are as efficient as possible.

- Ensure that the rates supplied by agents and service providers are market related and wherever possible are preferential.

- Attend to all queries arising from the estimates received and provided and rates received from service providers.

- Negotiate rates with all service providers in the freight and logistics industry.

- Build relationships with service providers and international agents.

Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12

• Relevant tertiary qualification will be viewed favourably

• Valid South African Driver’s licence Remuneration

The package will be determined by the experience and ability of the individual applying for the position.
