SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining sector is looking for a Oracle Functional Support Consultant with solid experience in Oracle Financial modules in eg General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable to assisting users with inquiries and issues while learning to configure and enhance the system.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Degree in Finance, Accounting or Information Systems
Solid experience using Oracle Financial module such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable
Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite specifically in Oracle Financial modules or similar ERP systems is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Experience with financial reporting or data analysis tools.
Basic knowledge of SQL or data extraction methods is a plus.

Overall Responsibilities:

User Support:

Assist end-users with questions and issues related to Oracle Financial modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable).
Provide first-level troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to senior staff as needed.

System Configuration:

Support the configuration of Oracle Financial applications under the guidance of senior team members.
Assist in testing new functionalities and system upgrades.

Training & Documentation:

Help develop training materials and user documentation.
Participate in training sessions to improve user proficiency with Oracle Financials.
