Junior Process Service Engineer

Our client is on the lookout for an individual who can learn, grow and deliver by applying their expertise in
mineral processing and harnessing technology to provide real value to their mining clients across the globe from
their company.

Responsibilities:
• Scheduled (e.g. daily and weekly) remote monitoring checks of process data for mining, minerals
processing and other chemical engineering industries.
• Smart sensor support services (e.g. sensor calibration and sensor integrity checks).
• Application and interpretation of pre-packaged data analytics solutions for remote monitoring and
diagnostic solutions.
• Report annotation including descriptive, diagnostic and prescriptive insights.
• Execution of case management and value tracking workflows.
• Interaction with subject matter experts to solicit custom solutions and interpretation.
• Interaction with clients to deliver and track actionable advisories.

Minimum Requirements
• A Diploma or higher in Chemical / Process / Metallurgical Engineering.
• Experience working with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Data Analytics skills (Understanding) Review data from Histograms and time series and box plots.
• Medically fit must be able to pass medical examinations at mines. Due to our Clients operating in the
Mining industry Covid vaccination is required.
• Will be required occasional travelling to industrial locations within Southern
Africa.
• Good interpersonal skills in terms of communication and ability to contribute to a team.
Desirable requirements
• Minimum 1 year onsite Mineral Process engineering experience.
• Knowledge of minerals processing circuits, e.g. crushing, grinding and flotation.
• Computer programming proficiency, preferably Python and CSence.
