SUMMARY:
Our client in Silverton is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor with solid shopfitting experience. This is a key requirement and non-negotiable. The ideal candidate will have hands-on exposure to retail/shopfitting projects and be confident with measurements, costing, and project coordination within this environment.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Prepare BOQs, estimates, and cost plans specifically for shopfitting projects
Conduct accurate site measurements and verify contractor quantities
Assist with tender documentation, procurement, and pricing
Track project costs, variations, and progress claims
Liaise with shopfitting teams, contractors, suppliers, and project managers
Maintain detailed project and financial documentation
Support with compiling progress reports

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying
Shopfitting experience is essential (not optional)
5 years QS experience (internships in shopfitting count)
Strong Excel and measurement skills
Ability to read technical and shopfitting drawings
Excellent communication and attention to detail
