JOB SUMMARY:
An FMCG Wholesaler Company is looking for a Junior Sales Analyst to join their team in La Mercy, Kwa-Zulu Natal.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Analytics and Operations Manager, the primary role of the Junior Sales Analyst is to support the sales team by compiling and analyzing sales and market data to help drive business growth. The analyst will work in a cross-functional team and assist with analytical and operational support to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations within the sales and operations department.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Use available data (both internal and third-party) to develop strategies that improve sales, productivity, and operations for the Company.
- Communicate with the Sales Management Team: Provide constant updates through reports or discussions with Sales Management on key sales metrics. Present findings on sales trends or strategies, competitor analysis and other findings in easy-to-understand reports.
- Create and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and trackers.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and collaborate with Sales Management in the various Sales Management Meetings (Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly).
- Assist with Key Account meeting preparation, including the compilation of sales data reports and promotional trackers.
- Project collaboration and engagement, including:
- Facilitate and assist with the implementation of promotional pricelists, presentations, and trackers.
- Ensure pricelists are accurately maintained and kept up to date.
- Assist with overflow capturing of orders during peak periods.
- Create price lists and quotes for key customers.
- General sales team administrative involvement.

Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 with an exemption pass.
- Tertiary qualification would be advantageous.
- 3-5 years FMCG/Sales/Administration experience essential.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with statistical modelling, particularly Power BI, software a bonus.
