SUMMARY:

Junior Sports Trader-Online iGaming Division

We are seeking a passionate and analytically minded Junior Sports Trader to join our dynamic sportsbook team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in sports, numbers, and online betting. You will assist in managing odds, monitoring market trends, and helping to ensure accurate pricing and risk management across our sportsbook offering. POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

Monitor and update live and pre-match odds across a variety of sports events.
Assist Senior Traders in compiling odds and identifying market discrepancies.
Analyse customer betting patterns and flag suspicious or arbitrage activity.
Monitor real-time sports data feeds and react quickly to game state changes.
Track competitor prices and promotions to ensure our offerings remain competitive.
Liaise with risk, product, and customer service teams on bet queries and settlements.
Help with reporting on trading performance, margin, and turnover by event/market.
Contribute to product improvements and suggest innovations based on user trends.
Support in planning and implementation of promotional offers (e.g., bet boosts, cashouts).
Ensure accurate bet settlement and market closure processes.
Work on shifts that may include weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

Requirements & Qualifications

Strong passion and understanding of various sports (e.g., Football, Cricket, Rugby, Golf and Tennis as the main sport types of a Sportsbook but not limited to these) their betting market types and rules.
Numerate and analytical thinker with good problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Excel and confident working with data and reports.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
Degree in a relevant field (Mathematics, Sports Science, Finance, etc.) is an advantage.
Previous exposure to sports betting or trading software is a plus but not essential.
Willingness to learn trading platforms and sportsbook tools.
Fluent in English (additional languages are a bonus)

Desirable Skills

Experience using sportsbook or odds-compiling platforms (e.g., Betradar, Betgenius, Bet Manager and or SportRadar).
Understanding of betting markets, odds formats (decimal, fractional), and trading margins.
Ability to identify value in betting markets and implement basic hedging strategies where needed.
