JOB SUMMARY:
Opportunity Available!! Our leading client in the FMCG Sector is looking to employ a Junior Supply Chain Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Humansdorp.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Performance Areas:

The incumbent will manage inventories and ensure that material resources are consistent with production schedules and generating requisitions for orders.
Some responsibilities will include ensuring material specifications meet quality standards and quantities necessary for production, tracking production volumes and trends, creating and maintaining inventory schedules, coordinating with internal departments.
The successful candidate must ensure that all returned items are accounted for and processed correctly, manage any inventory issues or changes, maintain record on inventory levels and other relevant data about items in stock as well ensuring that materials reports are prepared timeously.
Housekeeping and risk assessments need to be adhered to according to SOP’s.

Knowledge and Skills:

The successful candidate will have matric and a degree/diploma in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Inventory Management or any related field, with at least 1 year experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing or any relevant position within the FMCG industry.
2 years experience will be advantageous. The incumbent should have strong organizational and time management skills as well as both verbal and written communication skills and a proficiency in Microsoft office and material management systems.
The successful candidate should also have a good knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
A valid driver’s license is required.
