SUMMARY:
Our large mining client seeks a Junior System Engineer to provide IT support and systems support to various applications.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

NQF 6 qualification in IT or related
2 - 3 years IT experience
Detailed understanding of IT systems
Experience with multiple business systems outside of ERP, such as mining or plant processing will be beneficial
Experience in databases and detailed understanding of tables structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Intranet updates – content management and basic maintenance.
Sharepoint administration and management.
Data analytics support.
Service desk support.
Attend to systems queries.
Assist with development of dashboards in Power BI.
Provide assistance to third party service providers on IT services
