The key responsibilities include:
Selling of truck bodies; trailers and repairs services
Service existing customers and grow existing customer base (large fleet owners; retailers; truck dealers)
Preparation of quotations and costings
Preparation of weight distributions using Transolve software.
Preparation of Job sheets & specification sheets for new orders
Handling of communication & progress reports for new orders
Professional handover of new vehicles
Provide solutions & technical support to customers.
Handling & resolving of customer complaints
Plan and conduct visits to outlying areas from time to time.
Prepare a weekly call plan of activities planned to maximize sales effectiveness.
Prepare status reports including sales calls & progress reports on activities.
Ideal competencies, skills & knowledge:
Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
Understanding customer requirements to ensure suitable solutions are proposed.
Organized and structured with good time management (daily/weekly feedback of calls)
Excellent communication skills having the ability to converse and interact at all levels.
Proven ability at building strong relationships and add value to customers.
5 years plus direct sales experience preferably in the road transport industry or with high value capital assets.
